How To Put In Logon And Logout Message In Windows

the same old default message (none provided except 'welcome') has become a bit boring now..

can anybody tell me how to insert a message, custom, while login and logout..without taking aid of external software..

but it is not as so stylised... there is just one big box and then the custom message is shown in there...

very odd feel..
