Plz Suggest A Laptop.

Hi,

i want to buy a powerful laptop. Max budget 35k. plz suggest me a laptop.

i researched a bit & i found out that Acer Aspire 4520NWXMi could be a good option.

It has

AMD 64x2 Processor Athlon TK53 (1.73Ghz)

160 gb hard disk

1 gb ram

dvd writer

Getting it for 35k

will it be a good buy ?

I'v heard Acer products are not up to the mark & there is some after sale service issue also.

Plz suggest about it & also about any other model which could be a good option.

I'll be using certain graphics softwares like photoshop, flash, after effects & some music production softwaeres like Cubase, Propellerhead Reason, fruityloops etc.

till some time back there was a scheme which said acer dual core, 512, 80gb for 29000.

acer products are good that is why it is about to become the third largest..

and also service is good..

if you purchase it at the end of the month from any distributor..you will get it cheaper as they are under pressure to achieve their targets..

online stores will not be able to give you this service..

Acer laptops r nice..

U can also opt for Dell or Compaq laptops they r available but around 40K

I bought ACER4710 2 weeks back . core 2 duo 1.7 , 1 gb ram,160 gb harddisk , dwd writer for 40,500 K . performance is good

I am also a proud owner of acer laptop.

But Battery back up it gives me is less than that of UPS.

Dude Acer is good no issues with it ! Battery also works for around 2 / 3 hrs ... depends on usage !

dont get AMD .. I suggest u 2 get Dual Core One its 36 k i belive i had got one for my frnd ...

Will let u know the exact price and model ....

if you are still inthe warranty take it to the service center and f the battery is problematic then they will change it free of cos, i did that now my celeron supposed to stand up for 30 mincan go for marathon 2 hrs and he is still on.

hi,

i'v finally bought Acer 4710Z for 35k

but there is a bit of trouble. THe driver cd contains driver that are meant for only windows vistas but i have installed windows xp & i dont want to move to windows vistas.

I m not able to find windows xp drivers on the internet. what should i do ?

ya i sent a mail to cc & i received a reply within an hour with a link to download drivers. Now its working fine.
