Wm 6 On Ppc 6700

I need AKU 3.5 for PPC6700 ON Reliance Network,pplease provide the link and instruction to do so

I have installed AKU3.3 But Active Sync gives problem of Memory error and Conatc is not commining.

Please give solution for either

Simple dude.. just upgrade to wm6 .! or if you love wm5 more with its AKU 3.5.. .. you will get Hetalbhai's roms for AKU 3.5 from the below topics in this forum itself ...

n im waiting for hetalbhai to create a rom for wm6 !

u using a secured or unsecured wifi... i guess issues pertaining to secured network are still unanswered... i find the alert volume pretty low too... not the call ringer volume but the alert volume... wonder why it be so... cant seem to see it being addressed on ppcgeeks either...

dj put alarm 5 in sounds and notifications in the various alerts and also in alarms. it is very loud.. i think even louder than the ringtone.

but the ring tone still s**ks.. barely able to hear it. iif the alarm 5 can sound loud im sure the ringtone can be made louder to. i wish sumone wud increase the inherent volume of ringtones.thru a program like splitter. i had done it once before on another Lg phone before but as soon as i increased the volume it became like a phata dhol... maybee there is sum better method to do while retaining the quality. i miss the calls half the time coz of this stupid ringtone volume. windows 6 has been running ok till now.. just had to hard boot once in 8 days because it hanged while i was installing one note from windows outlook 2007 from the computer. i shdnt have installed it as it is already present in this wm6.

i think sum issues have been reported in this that on tinkering with sum setting it starts hanging on the boot screen and will keep doing so till u hard boot it.

i think it is definatly faster than the 3.5 and the spb shellhad issues before. now this inherent today htc home seems smoother and seamless.

initially after installing the wm6 the ppc becomes very slow. and only after soft booting 2-3 times and opening a few programs the 1st time it suddenly becomes much faster. i have noticed this 3 times after hard booting. i didnt let the extended rom install after hard reset as mentioned in the ppc forum. maybee that has sumthing to do with the issues.

the secured wifi issue will be sorted out sooner or later when the kitchens come out. there are also a few other issues with this which will become smoother after people try the various combinations of software with the kitchens. but i think it is quite stable for a trial issue.

the dialer is pretty stable than the previous one which used to hang once in a while. but i think everyones ph usually hangs sooner or later on sum program. this is the basic problem with windows mobile.

also i wasnt able to open a couple of internet pages like yahoo mobile messenger thru internet explorer. the basic problem i feel is that they have upgraded internet explorer to such an extend that it shows to the website as a normal i.e6 or 5 . this means that the sites which are specifically configured to load a short and fast version for mobiles registers this as a full computer based i.e and atarts loading the flash or other plug ins. these cant load completely as the flash plug in for pie doesnt allow to load more than 110k. which can be increased. but i still gives issues with a few sites. sumone confirm this. esp thru rel web world with proxy settings.

also anyone having any luck with an messenger which can be used thru the proxy settings reliance mobile world

the only messenger working thru proxy is gtalk but thats when u tether ur phone to a laptop or computer while its using rworld for proxy browsing....

ring tone for me is good... i use oldphone... its only the alert tone which kills it... i like the alarm 4 as my sms tone... will try the alarm 5 as suggested by u...

am keeping a close watch at ppc geeks for y issues we facing being resolved there...

We can set the Exploere in PE (Pocket Explorer Mode which run on WAP) or else we can set in IE6 Mode which run as IE

So get the Registry Hacks and and Swtch between PE or IE

dont thing the same registry hacks wud work in wm6.. where do i get them from they arnt there in the rom. installing and using them afterwords might do sum non desirable issue or sumthing?...

this ie doesnt have the option to allow use pie as ie 6.

and what google talk are u talking bout. i meant using ot on the ppc standalone not on the comp.. like if i need to use it if im not home..or without the comp thru r world proxy connection.. is there any mobile version of google talk ..for wm6 i mean..? or ur talking bout the computer version of g talk which u say can be used thru internet sharing..?

down load the file from the link given earlier in this thread and follow the same procedure..just remember after u hard boot and u r done with screen alignment n all as soon as it says customising ur extended rom 3 2 1 immediatly soft boot at once without letting it load the hetals extended rom.. as this is already inbulit into this wm6 rom..

i think u shd wait for a more improved version before u load this.. meanwhile enjoy hetals old rom ..

At last I did it

I have upgraded to wm6

1. For me its as fast as working on wm5

2. Spb menu is not working for me. then i installed it which was ssadik bhai given to me.. now works fine for me

Its really amazing

Unfortunately I've used that link previously and tried everything to no avail . I must assume that my PPC is toast, every rom installs fine but when it gets to the radio part the error 114 ALWAYS pops up. Any other suggestions would be appreciated otherwise thanks for the help.

i dont know why you moved back to hetal's rom .. wm6 is just awsome! ..i think the today screen part turns phone sluggish only because of "HTC home" .. remove it from today screen n the phone will be faster then any rom of wm5 ..

2. ring tones sounded lower.

3. battery to me on BT drained faster than on 3.5

4. phone sluggish on htc home screen. i even used it without it and still found the phone hanging occasionally...

5. the release has most of prop softwares that require registration to use.

6. i couldnt get the speed dial utility to work either.

i have been using wm6 since the 1st day it was released. i have saved quite a few times on pim anticipating a hard reset. no hangups at all.. ever.

ring tone maybe a bit lower but telephone ring 3 is very loud in fact i was surprised by its loudness..

bt i dont use so that i have no idea.

phone is faster than 3.5. definately. 1st few mins its a bit slugish but once u let it do whatever it wants in the backgrund its very fast.

i used microsoft voice command with it flawlessly. announces my apointments. even ph calls sumtimes if i need. n i can dial any name i want to.

smart dial works. u can ssign 6 names on the htc screen which works very fast n reliably.

hanging may be related to the htc weather part of the htc screen. just disable it. now the kitchen is out also for wm6. it ll give u faster roms soon. ph codes work. u just need to add a few tweaks.

there is a memory leak problem. if u use a few applications the memory free comes down till 17 mb from a frest post soft reset of 26. i think that happened in 3.5 also thus it was set to reset every morning at 7.am. u can confirm that for me.

the tweaks given for wm6 r improving it every day. wait for a stable rom which be released any day. . they are also making touchflo and cube work on this. it also works on 3.5 i think. so keep looking...

I'm thinking of getting wm6 onto ppc 6700. What will happen to the Reliance settings including the phone programming information. Will the Reliance settings remain untouched? Is it just like updating to WM6 and a straight go ahead?

Also, any new/stable versions of wm6 available for Reliance. Google search only points to one year old versions, which appear to have some problem or the other.
