Kunal Hemrajani 1 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Tata N Reliance work on CDMA.. while oder operators lik Hutch,Airtel,Idea, etc run on GSM.. so it depends for wich operator u r subscribin for..
copperco2 24 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 Kunal is right. both the technologies differ so much that one handset you like may not work for the service provider you want to take connection from... do some homework..before you buy the handset and we will certainly suggest you good ones in your budget.. Pocket PC is okay but then these are also availbale in both the technology platforms i.e. CDMA and GSM

Sadikk 301 Report post Posted September 5, 2007 I would like to go for GSM. What will be advantages and disadvantages if I chose GSM mobiles? Can you tell me difference between Java Phones And Symbian phones? Hope my questions are right If u want to use mobile on reliance or tata go for NOKIA 6275. If u want to use any other service provider such as airtel, hutch, bpl, idea etc go for nokia SYMBIAN OS. Java phones have very limited possibilities but very user friendly. whereas symbian OS supports many third party softwares and need to get use to. But once u get use to it, u wont be able to use any other phones in sense of addictions it gives u. also check sony ericsson W series phone if ur a first time mobile phone user.
