vishalmcp 8 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 Hi all, I am having a win2003 domain. My domain user account gets locked out automatically every 5 min. This is happening from last 4 days. I have not changed my password recently. I saw the event viewer it is showing event id 539 Event Type: Failure Audit Event Source: Security Event Category: Logon/Logoff Event ID: 539 Date: 9/4/2007 Time: 3:54:43 PM User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Computer: CDWRITER Logon Failure: Reason: Account locked out User Name: abcd Domain: xyza Logon Type: 7 Logon Process: User32 Authentication Package: Negotiate Workstation Name: CDWRITER My lockout policy is 3 invalid login attempt. I keep on unlock the account in AD every 5 min. Also I had not change my password since last 1 month. I am not able to find any solution. Can anybody please help me solve the above problem.
