Using At Commands On Cdma Phones

Hi All,

I want to know what are the different AT commands supported by LGRD6330 Phone. Basically i want to send follwoing AT commands from teh Hyperterminal of teh PC ? how can i do it ?

1) ATD Phonenumber

2) AT+CMGF=1( set for text mode SMS)

3) AT+CMGS="934121212"

4) >"hello"

I want to know if these commands are supported.

I guess it should be su[pported. We may ened to enable something? Because when i tried ATD i am getting error as "NO CARRIER"

Can any body suggest ?

Above commands are GSM Text Mode

GSM Phones Support 2 Modes GSM Text Mode for Normal Characters and GSM-PDU 6 Bit ASCII for Extra Characters in SMS

And Sorry these All 2 Type are not Supported in LG

Hi want to learn how to communicate to phone through AT commands.....

After connecting the phone through cable to PC will the commands works.. And if yes how to wok it out??

i mean after entering the command howand where will it show the output??

Thanks for your info , Text & PDu will be useful for the SMS. Do you think even ATD command doesnot work ?

Can anybody suggest if any of Reliance CDMA phones the following AT commands will work ?

For me no at command is working other than AT itself. When i enter AT it say OK But the rest codes give the output of error. I have the code list for CDMA but none of them work.. how to work out these codes..

I have now taken a new Motorloa Razor V3M Phone from Reliance Webworld.From this I could use ATD command.But not yet SMS. Can anybody suggest what are the AT commands to send SMS from CDMA Phones ? I understand someboady has done for Nokia Phones. Can we atleast know what are the AT commands for that phone? Will it depend on Phone Models?

HI u can get the command list at forum.nokia.com but executing them is a tough task...

Hetal is perfect with at commands but i dont think he would help us out.. so u will have to make either way out..!!!

Every operator has their way of implementing AT commands, not all nokia will work on MOTO

Hi all.. I am using a Nokia CDMA phone with model no 2865. I am connecting the device with Ubuntu using minicom. The issue is i am not able to run any AT commands other than CMGS, that too in PDU format.. Do anybody know about this phone supporting the commands or no ? Or can there be a possibility tht Reliance could have disabled the services for SMS n calling via AT commands ? Do i have to add a toolkit or something to connect ? Any help will be appreciated.. If it is nokia handset then it will support AT commands .

Our HP already made software to send sms from PC using nokia and other handset/modems

but it is for windows, you may be able to get some info from it for linux
