World Phone Net Telephony Plans

World Phone Internet Services has announced its premium Internet telephony unlimited plans for USA, UK, Australia, and Canada, available for Rs 1,500 per month, thus bringing prices down to less than 50 paise per minute.

The new services will allow consumers connect with close ones in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and many more countries, for a fixed monthly subscription without even using a computer, the company claims.

Subscribers will get a regular telephone with an international virtual number, which, if directly plugged into a DSL/Broadband Internet connection, will allow them to make unlimited international calls to the country of their choice.

World Phone has introduced the following:

Unlimited Plans to allow its customers enough choice in terms of budgets, and preferred call destinations.

Unlimited USA and Canada at Rs 1,500 per month; available with a USA virtual number, and unlimited call minutes to USA and Canada.

Unlimited USA, UK, and Canada at Rs 2,000 per month; available with UK virtual number and unlimited call minutes to USA, UK, and Canada.

Unlimited USA, UK, Canada, and Australia at Rs 2,500 per month; available with Australia virtual number and unlimited call minutes to USA, Australia, UK, and Canada.

Besides, the company has introduced Basic Plans as follows:

Basic USA at Rs 750 per month; available with a USA virtual number and 500 free call minutes to over 30 countries.

Basic USA and UK at Rs 950 per month; available with UK virtual number and 500 free call minutes to over 30 countries.

Basic USA and Australia at Rs 1,150 per month; available with an Australia virtual number and 500 free call minutes to over 30 countries.

Basic Asia at Rs 1,350 per month; available with a China or Hong Kong or South Korea virtual number, and 500 free call minutes to over 30 countries.

In the first phase, World Phone services will be available at outlets across Delhi. Connections will be able to be booked by logging onto World Phone's Web site at www.worldphone.in, or making calls to World Phone's Response Management Center on the toll free number 1800116633 from an MTNL/BSNL landline, or calling 011-26812040 from any landline across the country.

The company plans to launch its services in Mumbai within a month, and then extend them to other major cities, including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, etc.

World Phone claims its services will deal a body blow to illegal VoIP service providers in the country, who have been so far luring customers using price-based advantages, even as they compromise national security in the bargain.
