Sadikk 301 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) Well my words for this is "SASTA aur KIFAYTI". Palm and the American operator Sprint have reported that the release of Palm Centro smartphone will take place on October 14. The device is positioned as the smallest Palm smartphone. The company announced the $100 price tag on a 2-year service plan (from $25). Palm Centro will be available in Red and Black color solutions. Probably smartphone details will be unveiled after today’s conference at DigitalLife event in New York. kshah 452 Report post Posted October 1, 2007 I have one and hetal may have one. Hetal may want sell it. I do not want to sell. But FYI it costed me USD 190 (INR 7600) + 2400 Shipping + 2100 cusotms and octroi. Total 12000 brand new with cable, handsfree, box. If got shipped intelligently (not foolish way like me), then shipping could be as low as US $ 30 and max 1000 for customs (no octroi in other cities). Also on ebay you get it for as low as US $ 150 (Means your total cost may not exceeds 9K) worth for this handset.

neo 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 Can the Palm centro be converted to use on the Reliance cdma network?
kshah 452 Report post Posted December 14, 2007 probably yes because it has same hardware and software as 700 / 755P. But centro has very small battery (I think 1100 mAH) so I doubt its talk time / stand by time. 700P has 1800 mAH and belive me it works better than simple phone with 1000 mAH battery.
