Queries On Nokia 6275

Recommended Posts

Guys,

Below questions related to Nokia-6275 Reliance

1. I get "UIM Memory Full" message. What does this mean. Does this mean that the internal Phone memory (21MB) is full? But i have 18MB free spance in my internal phone memory? How to avoid this message?

2. Is there anyway to increase the internal memory (which is 21MB by default). Because all the file transfers done through Bluetooth goes to Internal Memory by default and i am not able to find a configuration to change the default download to my external memory (256MB microSD card).

3. What is the cost of 1G microSD and 2G microSD card? What all brands in microSD works with Nokia 6275?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Uday

Answers to your queries :-

1. UIM memory refers to the SIM card memory which is used by SMS and Phone Directory, to resolve this delete some SMS's and move contacts from UIM card to phone memory ( you can do this by going into contacts menu, you find a option named 'move')

2. There is no way to increase the internal memory more than 21 MB as memory is not a software thing its a hardware. The only way is to let the bluetooth download it to your phone memory and than move it to memory card (No other way).

3. I can't help about that, as I have no idea of prices of memory card

Cheers

Vishal
