However, roughly the price point could be around Rs 2,000 for a download of 7-8 Gbs.

seems the Speed Supporting using ADSL 2+ Technology is Fantastic

But its the software Capping with cap the Speed if they think they can also provide me the 8 mbps in next day one the Plan is chok out

Remeber

All ADSL 2+ Broadband can hook upto 26 mbps but but backbone of telecom operator should also support or have that Speed.

I think in next 2 year every home will have 4 mbps Speed. as Major BSNL Broadband Modem and DSLAM installed this year is ADSL 2+.

Reliance BroadNet (wireline) is available in many cities/towns now, but they are trying to provide it through WiMAX as there are many hassles in the last mile wiring. Reliance Broadband through Fixed WiMAX is already popular in Bangalore and Pune.

My dear friends, maximum of new connections provided by Reliance Broadnet in Mumbai are Wimax.
