Arun 795 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 It isn't possible saurav, Gmail doesn't provide POP access.
anujit 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 they don't have to provide pop access! they just have to wap enable gmail. i tried accessing gmail through google (which has built in wap converters) but google failed with an error message. i think httpS has something to do with it! Arun 795 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 I thought Saurav mentioned about the Web Mail app in 'R-World'. Yeah, for R-Surf access, Gmail should allow WAP access.
Jacob 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 Guys, Why all you worried about Gmail, go for rediffmail it gives you 1gb space and moreover you can access your account thru R-World, in surf section type http://mobile.rediff.com. You can also access your yahoo.CO.UK emails via R-World->Webmail section which offers you 100MB space. I guess its time to foreget about Gmail.

karpar 1 Report post Posted July 9, 2004 google was the one who expanded our mailboxes after all, yahoo kept shrinking its and it was giving out only 4mb against 6mb it used to offer before...now it suddenly is able to offer a whopping(compared to the previous size) 100mb! btw, my new 4mb a/c got expanded to 6mb only though my previously 6mb a/c got expanded to 100mb, wonder what went wrong... Ganesh 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2004 Now that gmail offers pop, did anyone try gmail on rworld?
karpar 1 Report post Posted November 21, 2004 Offering POP has nothing to do with accessing the site on R-World. They have to WAP enable their site.
raccoon 53 Report post Posted November 21, 2004 Hes perhaps talking about POP3 access from the mail app. in R World ...not WAP. Anybody tried that?
