Recommended Posts

Hi

I have TOSHIBA WINDOWS XP SP2 OS

i bought MG 880 yesterday and whole night spend in installing it - i have also raised a complaint(#57006566) at call center

today the web world guys tried to figure out the issue but without any success

drivers seems to be installed successfully as per documentation(checked tru driver manager) and even registration had been a success (i.e. i got a phone number ), the device works very well on voice calls and it even connnects with my number on some one elses machine having VISTA but for me i m getting error 720 when i try to do a connect

the authentication seems to be going fine bu the modem disconnects after establishing the connection !!

attached is the fragment of the log(from view log on the driver )

I get the exact log entries you have made. My problem is that the internet gets connected for 4-5 seconds and then it closes and re-connects. So this goes on and on.

If you have found a solution please do get back to me. I find that I can make voice calls and make sms's as well. But Internet is the problem.

I Thought this was important for all ZTE USB Modem users hence this post

had been stuggling to get back my laptop to work for more than 10 days after the initial installation stopped my other network cards

In fact got in to fights with the Rcom chap who would not help at all for any subject except their card

I have now got the card to work on 2 of my laptops , they are slow but they work

The installtion process is as follows

Make restore point in the OS ( I use windows XP)

Switch off or disconnect your in built wireless and Network Card

Install the software for the modem but not the Net Booster software

Connect the USB Device and complete the formalities as adviced in the installation process

You are done with it and you are back in the old days of dial up and slower devices

Happy ZTE ing
