Nvimnv.c-002243 Error

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

i was doing some experiments with my LG-RD2030 in bitpim

suddenly by mistake i deleted the directory "prl".

now the phone doesnt start.

it shows LG logo and an error:

nvimnv.c

02243

please tell me what can i do?

i went to LG service center

he asked me whether i dropped the phone

i denied

after checking the phone he said that PCB card of phone should be changed to work the phone

he told me that tomorrow he will change the card

i cant tell him that i deleted the directory in phone, therefore the phone is not starting.

he is trying to make fool

he knows that it is a problem of s/w

i told him that someone told me to reinstall the s/w to solve the problem

but he refused.

please tell me guys what can i do?

is there any way that i can repair the phone

is there any site that provides LG-RD2030 s/w to download

please guys help me.

thanks

2 things,

Tell him to flash the phone(reinstall s/w), And tell him politely that "1 of my frnd had the same prob n this way he got it done. Y dont we jus try this out? Nothing lost!"

This way u might save the hassles of paying for the PCB Card and later gettting it back thru Insurance etc.

The PCB card(MotherBoard) i guess is the main card in the phone. Changing it wud mean, completely revamping the fone. Wud be good for u, unless they charge u for it. Warranty/Insurance here wud matter. Find out the details.

hey... jus a wild idea ... why dont u do one thing ... copy that directory from ur friends fone and then try writing it onto ur phone ... jus give it a try and if this guy continues to behave the same, try going to another service centre ... but first try giving the copying a shot ... might just work !!

I think Vishal Already has a backup of his phone's file system.

The main problem I guesss is getting time to acess and write to the File system before the phone reboots.

Another wild idea is to attach another phone of same model and in bitpim open the File system and highlight the prl file. Now connect your phone (with bitpim still open) and start it. I think U may get a chance to write the file at some point of time (after you start up your phone and before it reboots) from the one you backed up.

Of course the best way to go would be to visit another LG service center where people are more 'customer friendly'.

Good Luck.

Hey i dont think that service guy is fooling you..

I think they need to start the phone once for flashing..

Also as CODE said, u try that once..

but not much chances, bcz only after the phone intialises the brew stuff you will be able to do something thru Bitpim
