manishag 17 Report post Posted October 27, 2007 I'll go for the TFT but still I want to get it repaired so that I can use it with my OLD CPU. and today I tried to repair it my own. now brightness problem removed. Now I am facing problem only with the contrast. And the frequency of the problem has also reduced a lot. I'll try the same treatment tomm again and I hope that contrast problem will also get resolved
Honest 836 Report post Posted October 27, 2007 ^^^ @Manish My dear friend, in my point of view if you call authorised service personals of Philips, then surely your problem will be solved. No problem, if you purchased the monitor from Kanpur, the service centre offer you services here in Delhi also. Better call them, and get your problem solved. And one more thing to remind you, if you are trying to repair it yourself and need to open the cover of your CRT monitor than please be careful. As these CRT monitors have more than 25,000 Volts of power in it. Better to avoid any risks and call proper service centre persons my dear friend. Regards.
