Its 2 megapixel camera can be used as a scanner/barcode reader and the 3.7 inch VGA display can function as the viewfinder. This apparently heavy-duty mobile runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional with an Intel XScale processor. It’s equipped with 128MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM, and supports external memory via microSD cards. It also has an integrated GPS unit. The device is EDGE-enabled and has Wi-Fi support, USB and Bluetooth v2.1. According to the company, it can withstand a five-foot drop on to concrete, and is also well protected from dust and water. The iKon will be launched in USA this December, but there’s no word on the pricing yet.
