Rd2130 Software Upgrade

HELP!!!!!!!!!! :P

Dear Friends,

I have recently upgraded my software of RD2130 and the present version of the sfotware is RD213F10. But ever since the upgradation some of the functions under R World quit working. Some of those are MMS, Greetings, Celar Memory etc. When selecting these options, it give a message R World Not Ready. At the same time all other functions working properly. When contacted Reliance Care, I have been told that the supporting version of Software for RD2130 is RD203F15

Now I am confused as I dont remember the orginal version of software I had as I did not note it down. LG Customer Care people dont have any idea what the software version they provided to Reliance to update their R World Protocol for RD2130.

Does any one have any idea whats the solution????

A Reliance customer service person said to my friend to get "A complete Reburn of R-World" at LG service center. For him all was well apparently after that ...

I think some there would have been some problem in updating the software.

As for as i know this is the first mail i am looking about the bug due to new software since already some members in this forum have updated their

(I am also in the way to upgrade)

software because of some bugs and BitPIM and no one have posted any bugs.

I think u can try reburning the software if the LG Service center people agrees.

Also wait till some other people having the 2130 handset and upgraded their firmware replays to u'r mail :P

rd203f15 is for LG2030!

They always say that 'by default' - you need to again specify the make of Ur handset.

Thank you Code, Second time when contacted they suggested me to do the same (re-burn rworld software).

Code, you are right. The stupid customer care executive whom I contacted first time was wrong and fools like them not helping us but also misleading.

Thank you all guys, I will get back to this issue after I re-burn r-world software from LG.
