Samsung Max Available With Reliance

The moment this phone was in my hands, it felt a sophisticated piece of technology.

But that was too early for me to decide. The phone is a beautiful, small and feature packed piece with MP3, FM, 1.3 Camera, Bluetooth. All works good BUT ;

1. Does not support .jpg files larger that approx 500KB

2. Does not support .gif files, text files

3. Does not support 3gp, MP4 (from any external source)

4. Does not support web browsing (no browser)

5. Does not support Emails

6. Does not support external games

7. Does not support animated screen savers

The keypad tones do not change even when the phone displays that the new settings have been implemented.

Two games come preloaded, bowling and honey ball.

The screen is large and teh display is rich in color and sharpness.

While this is very good looking phone, but at 7600 without the above features it is a BIG let down.

it supports gif files....

there is a web browser but the setting are of tata indicomm(now it wd have been changed)

Recently bought SAMSUNG MAX... can anyone provide help as regards MP3 functionality...

I have transferred few MP3s in the external memory card... but it is not recognized as MP3

Can any one help in the matter ?

well i have not been facing this problem even once past 2 months

just format your card and recopy it again and check whether your PC doesnt has any virus or something

And what about the Blutooth... the phone is never recognized by any PC or Other Nokia phone ???

i use this for net connect with bluetooth . .never ever faced problems, go to settings>application settings>bluetooth and then chgeck all and then search again

go to settings -> application settings -> bluetooth settings -> Set visibility as ON

This should do it, as the same prob was with me.

m again facing problem of sms incoming . the new received msg goes to any random location . first when i faced this problem it was resolved after updating software from asc . but after working normal for one month it has again started giving this problem . even sorting time wise dont work . anybody can give solution to this ?

well i have just purchased a new one...and currently m not facing his problem.

but there are 2 problems that i am facing.

1) whenever i connect th phone to the pc, for net connetion using samsung pc suite, it doesnt allow me to change the username and password.

both the fields are not editable. and then it gives me the error that username or password is wrng. has anyone faced it. how do i solve it?

2)also, when i play mp4 video files on it, the video streaming is so slow, that it is not worth watching it...any settings as to change it??

i run netconnect via bluetooth n no problem in changing username /password

hmm i thougt others may not be aware of the same.

i bought handset from reliance web world, using it with my Tata Indicom connection.

I would like to have mms feature for samsung max for reliance communication. PLease help me as from where can i activate mms on samung max for reliance. I cannot receive mms nor can i see any menu for sending mms please help.

who says this phone doesn't have a video player & recorder? and I see ppl are trying 'n' number of ways to work it out.

In Idle mode, press and

To view a video:

and select My album →

gallery.

I was using LG6600 & also used Nokia6275, compared to both I give 10 on 10 to Samsung MAX.

who said u cant record a video or view that video in a video player, first read the complete thread and then post.

the issue was that how to play external video that was not creaed by phone meand video songs movies . . .understood . . .
