well @ abhipan till date the phone is working fine for me. there are two things that i wd like to be added in the phone.

no1 a good decent 3gp player and secondly JAVA.

hi akshat well i bought this fone but its givin some trroubles!! wen i try to acess my mmry card via blue to trnsefer files from pc suite its getting hanged!!!1 same is the case wen i try to edit radio channels after self tuunin is done?? well any remedy???

well at times the pc Mq link is somewhat slower . . but patience thats it . . but at radio channels never faced any problem . . .look hanging when connected to computer can be another problem . .just try on another computer and beware donot connect to computer without installing the S/W

hi after lot of search i have come to known that platform of os for max is "brew"!!!!!! BREW is a concoction created by Qualcomm, an American communications company. its toughest competitor for java platform cos its technically more safe than java as it's a complete solution with DRM, billing, virus avoidance (through certification) etc.

jus put brew in google search to find out more!!! its much better gamin platform than java cos of its better 3D capabilities!!

so i think since max is brew enabled games on brew plaform can b added in the phone( its my guess)

well everything that u said in your last post was correct except the above quote. . .man there are only two games ion the set and u cant add even a single game in this handset

oh is it so!!!! i told u it was jus my wild guess!! but v can suerly hope that samsung comes up with a software upgrade cos thats wat the samsung techie in the service station said!!! lets wait n watch

does any one know how to answer a call when its on waiting n then switch back to earlier call on max!!!! n also wat does SSR do somehow my phone does not show the SSR icon shown in manual even if SSR is on. n also wat is VOD files the memory always shows its empty.

well i have indeed answered a waiting call but dont know how to attend the previous call and secondly i also am amazed what he hell is Super silent ringtone and probably what it means just press continuosly the middle button upwards and its activated and never faced any change when its activated and VOD i suppose are videos downloaded from rworld

one annoying little fact abt MAX when it comes to deletin msgs in inbox or outbox there is no option of delete all or at least select all!!!!! u gotta sit n select each nevery msg if u want clear the whole inbox or outbox!!!! or is dat m missin on some detail!!

Samsumg Max is worst phone than Nokia. When I bought this phone from this person, he said it is too good but did not told about its software problem. I am really really feel guilty for this. I ASSURE YOU MAN I WILL NEVER BUY ANY PHONE FROM YOUR SHOP AND NEITHER RECOMMENED.

YOU CHEATED ME and TRY TO BE SPECIALIST.

ON THE FIRST DAY I NEEDED TO CALL THE SERVICE CENTER and Service center of SAMSUNG IS WORST than this PERSON.

Let me know if you need any feedback. I am going to write a mail about this to SAMSUNG SALES.

1. The Samsung Max has Software problem. It was keeps on restsrting whenever you try to send an SMS.

2. The User manual has nothing for User.

3. The Song Skip is not working.

4. Mp4 videos not working.

Went to Samsung service center. The call center guy told me that this is a known software problem and you need to for software upgrade and all thing s will start working fine.

Samsung Service center at Patparganj, they upgraded my software after formaating (formatting removes all the dat from you phone as per samsumg service center guy) but my all data was saved.

A new problem happend -- The hourly chime stopped working.

MP4 still not working

Skip length for music still not working

User manual still have not all the information about the features of phone.

Let me know my friend what should i say ----I lOVE SAMSUNG or HATE .. even the service is worst.

well dude i just say your luck ran out this time!!!! cos u picked up the screwed up piece that is present in every 10000 hanset!! my handset is workin fine even i had got service station the first day but it was whole sole my stupidity somehow FTP of blue tooth was unhecked n i tht BT is screwed!! went to SS made a big scene!! they showed me that ftp was off! but i demanded for software upgrade!! they did it!! it workin fine!!

for u i have solution if ur set is not old than seven days n software upgrade did not do it then jus ask for DOA letter u can get you handset replaced!

I've just got the service codes for samsung max, while fiddling with the phone.

Only you can figure out and test the settings to make the wap compitable with reliance ;

Go to Menu and select Rworld

In the menu click *

User lock will be displayed, type 0000

You are in

Use the same in DISPLAY, type 000000

Use the same in SETTINGS, type 123456

I was able to figure out some of the settings in WAP and BREW but was scared of changing it.

You are the best in this field, Please expirement and let us know.

the above feature that you have requested is missing from the OS of the handset . . . . if have to forward the sms you wd hv 2 slct d names manually.

thanks for ur inputs. I got the Samsung Max two days back from

Reliance webworld for Rs 6900.

The mobile internet browser doesn't work though I tried

the technique as advised by you through sms draft connect mode.

It shows: error-network down. Any idea how to run it ?

Hi Friends,

I am not able to transfer files using bluetooth between Samsung Max & Nokia 6265. I can only transfer files upto 15 KB but not bigger files whereas bluetooth for both work fine with other mobiles. Please give a solution to this problem. Awaiting a solution at the earliest.

hi evryone,

a few days ago i brought samsung max from reliance. The handset is ok.the problem with the phone is when u browse teh net the net does not open. The loading bar of openwave appears but nothing happens....after few days i recieved the bill and reliance charged me 41 rs for net ........The browser doesnot work in samsung max...i called up the customer care but they said that there is no browser in max u can cannect it via bluetooth or datacable to pc...
