balakrishnank_2000 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2007 Recently I bought the new model LG 6600, within 2 weeks of purchase, my voice is not totally audible to other side. I contacted LG service. They told that the protection covering in microphone has totally covered the microphone and corrected it. But the problem persists. Then I went again and this time they replaced microphone. Though now it works, the people on other side says that my voice is not clear, breaks and echoes.... I went to LG service again and they are clue less. What to do now. Also the phone is removed from Reliance website, what is the reason...?
KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted November 29, 2007 Ask CMO for a replacement or a refund of your money. They will give it. Send a email to CMO and a cc to LG also for faster effect.
Honest 836 Report post Posted November 29, 2007 ^^^ @balakrishnan Yes my dear friend, you must do as per KumaarShah guided you in the above post. And in some CDMA handsets the voice echo problem persists due to the cover which we put on the phone to prevent it from dust and all. Try removing the cover and then call somebody and ask if still the voice echoes. Regards.
balakrishnank_2000 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 Thanks for all your feedback. I booked a written complaint with Reliance and they forwarded the same to LG. One Executive from LG called me and understood the problem and advised to give the handset to service centre. Service centre advised to replace the PCB, but I have not accepted, since the originality goes away. Then LG people agreed and arranged for a new replacement. The people at LG,Chennai and Reliance Webworld, Adyar,Chennai are so polite and their action is to be appreciated.
KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 ^^^ I agree with you fully on the courtesy extended by LG,Chennai as well as RCOM-TO,Chennai. In my case for my LG 6230, I got the full refund of my money from LG after using the handset for almost six months. Of course in between, LG changed the handset twice but as I was dis-satisfied with the performance, They refunded my money in full without deducting even a single paisa. All credit must also be given to RCOM-TO,Chennai for their unstinted support in this matter. Subsequently, I had problem with my Nokia 6265 also and the TO took lots of pains to ensure my handset was repaired without my having to wait for the customary 15 to 25 days waiting period for all Nokia Phones.
