Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted June 26, 2004 hi guys i want to know why i am getting email notifications from rimweb on topics which i started even i have deselected options of email notifications in "my controls" settings please tell me i want that if i get any answer for my topic or others i get only message notification please help me. Chirag 5 Report post Posted June 26, 2004 In this version of Invision Power Board that our forum is using, We have an option in EMAIL SETTINGS under MY CONTROLS wherein u can set an option as Enable 'Email Notification' by default? Selecting this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to. U can unselect this option to stop getting email alerts! Maybe ashok can help u, if at all there is an option where u can get alerts ONLY from Topics STARTED by u. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You can also find this options under My Controls Subscriptions View Topics After that click Email Settings See whether you have checked this option Enable 'Email Notification' by default?Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to.
