Honest 836 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 ^^^ @Srinivas Rao My dear friend, I think it will depend on the available memory in your handset. Now a days most of the handsets support unlimited voice recording. Regards.

Honest 836 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 (edited) srinivas@ n motorola v9m you can record voice of another party during call , not of yours . @supernova My dear friend, how is it possible ? That means you are saying if we both are talking to each other and I press the button to record the call then only your voice will be recorded and not mine ? This cannot be possible. As in call conversation recording in any phone the voice of both the parties (the calling party and the called party) will be recorded. Regards. Honest 836 Report post Posted December 14, 2007 you can record voice of another party during call , not of yours . its possible .. my bro using v9m . i checked this feature @supernova My dear Amit I think you didn't got my point. I agree with you that in this handset the call conversation recording is possible. But I disagree with you when you say only one party's (Called Party) voice will be recorded. How can it be possible ? If we are recording a call conversation in any phone, the voice of both the parties should be recorded. Otherwise this feature is useless. Regards. kshah 452 Report post Posted December 14, 2007 Voice recording of both the patrties depends on hardware and implementation of voice codec. In WM5 phones no one has been able to record both the parties conversation with native hardware and native softwares. Same applies to phones. Nokia disabled it in its java phones due to legal constrains. Symbian its possible. Palm OS its possible so far but it records only in wav format.
innersky 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 I use lg 6250. It is possible to record both sides of a phone conversation. However, I have not been able to figure out a way of transferring/copying the file out of the phone. I remember that with the Gtran, it was possible to record only the other party's voice, not your own. Supernova : (a) does the moto V9M support recording both sides of the conversation ? ( is it possible to copy or transfer the files on to a computer ?
