@ksh@T 20 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 MANDI: The Mandi district consumer forum has asked Airtel to pay a fine of Rs 10,000 for wrong billing. Mandi district consumer forum on a complaint from Parkash Thakur ordered the local Airtel office of Bharti Televenture Ltd, the service provider, to pay Rs 10,000 for charging calls which were actually free of cost. The complainant, a journalist with a vernacular daily, said that he was charged even for free calls on 100, 101 and 102, which he used to dial for collecting news reports. Finding merit in the complaint, the consumer forum yesterday imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 along with 9 per cent interest and Rs 2000 as cost of lodging complaint. i too have a complaint with reliance just waiting @core Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
