santosh_narayanan 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Hi, I'm using the default WM5 that came with RIM's PPC6700. I'm having a problem with the built-in alarm function of WM5. When I set an alarm - it works alright. But I don't get the option to turn it off. Normally I should get a "notification" option on the bottom left but that doesn't appear and the alarm keeps going. I tried disabling all alarms in the alarms screen and soft resetting it but the alarm keeps going on even after the soft reset. And not just that - it also seems to somehow play one of the old alarm sounds I had on earlier after it comes out of the soft reset (even though all alarms are disabled and the time does not match any of the alarms previously set). I then have to just mute the sound and let it play the alarm for a few minutes before it finally stops. Does anyone have any tips on how to resolve this? Thanks.
