Tata Motors attributed that to a faulty electrical switch and said it had changed suppliers and done additional tests to rule out a recall or redesign. If the same incident had happened in USA or Japan the whole lot/ batch of the cars coming out from the same plant or with the same parts would have been recalled summarily..
