Tata Offers Long-distance Calls at 50 Paise

Telecom service provider Tata Indicom will offer long-distance calls at 50 paise per minute to its post-paid mobile customers in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the company announced on Friday.

Under its "south corridor pack", the service will be available to Tata subscribers at a monthly rental of Rs.75 for calling any phone in these three southern states.

"This attractive offer is targeted at heavy mobile users for providing maximum value. We will introduce such innovative products to enhance value proposition for our customers," Tata Teleservices' chief operating officer, Karnataka circle, Sanjay Vohra, said in a statement.

The offer, however, will not be applicable while roaming.

With presence in 4,000 towns across 20 circles spanning the country, Tata Indicom offers integrated telecom solutions using CDMA technology for its wireless network to a customer base of 21 million.

This seems to be a good offer my dear friends. Hope TATA will provide the same offer nationwide and Reliance too follow the suite.

Regards.

Thanks, Honest.

In todays newspape there is an ad by TATA which states customers from TN/Chennai can opt for this pack to call any network STD to customers in AP, Karnataka and Kerala. So AP is now covered.

RCOM also should introduce this plan because at Re 0.50 pm, it is too good to resist.

Like other regions of India, the postpaid mobile customers of Tata Indicom in states of West Bengal including Kolkata circle, Bihar and Orissa will now enjoy STD to any phone in these states at 50paise per minute against a monthly rent of Rs75.

Surprisingly, the state of Assam has been excluded like Andhra Pradesh is not there in South Corridor.
