phil 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2008 Hi I found this routers from Cradlepoint : http://www.evdoinfo.com/content/view/2201/63/ One is with a battery, one is without a battery. Do you think it is possible to plug on it the Reliance Zte Mg880 Usb Modem ? I asked a question to someone and he responded to me : "No, it is not possible because ZTE MG880 is CDMA 1XRTT, not EVDO." What do you think about this response ? Is it true ? What is the difference between 1XRTT and EVDO ? All devices from Reliance are 1XRTT only ? -marc-
Arun 795 Report post Posted January 18, 2008 The "Personal Hot Spot" wireless router shown there seems to be EVDO. It doesn't say whether it is compatible with CDMA 1x. Yes, Reliance network supports only CDMA 1x 2000 for now as EVDO isn't launched yet. EVDO has average speeds like 750 kbps, while 1XRTT has average speed like 80 kbps only.
