Ok, so I'm planning to buy an unlocked iPhone in Mumbai and have a few questions about it. 1) I hear that you don't have to activate the iPhone when you buy it. Is this right? 2) Do all the features of the unlocked iPhone work in India? 3) Is it true that you can only put songs in it that you've bought on itunes or like the iPod, you can put any song you've downloaded (via limewire etc.) on iTunes and treansfer it to the handheld? 4) Is it true that these songs that you've put into the iPhone cannot be used as ringtones. 5) If you buy a v1.0.2/v1.1.1 iPhone, can you update the firmware to v1.1.2 without it getting re-locked. 6) What are teh applications that can be safely used on this unlocked phone? 7) Is it actually worth buying? 8) It doesn't update versions by itself does it?
