Suggestions Required

Recommended Posts

i am using samsung sch n191 since almost three years. i now want to buy a new handset. can anybody help me with some suggestions and latest prices/rates. i stay in mumbai western suburbs.

i have following criteria:

- either LG 6230 or LG 6600 or Motorola L7c or Nokia 6275

- internal memory should be good, large phonebook

- screen should be comfortably readable

- will be used by a 55 year old senior executive of a company

- ability to synchronize with computer

- should work with reliance cdma network in mumbai

- good battery life, good network/antenna/reception/signal

- no flip type, no slider type, only bar type

- not much concerned about design or aesthetics or looks

- mainly for business use, not for entertainment

- build quality should be strong and sturdy

- simple, not flashy

- camera, video, mp3, etc. such entertainment features are not a consideration

- after sales service network should be good. parts should be widely available

as per my findings,

LG 6230 - Rs. 6400 - 6600

LG 6600 - Rs. 6800 - 7000

Motorola L7c - Rs. 7800 - 8000

Nokia 6275 - Rs. 9800 - 10000

please let me know whether my findings are right or wrong

which one do you think is better value for money considering my needs mentioned above

thanks in advance. any help is appreciated.

Motorola L7 is really good phone than LG (Stupid PC sync and software) and Nokia (Pathatic customer service)

I have seen K3 and L7 both are excellent, very sturdy metal handset with better battery life than LG and nokias. LG are loaded phones as compared to others for same price range.

LG has said to have good customer care. Nokia for CDMA is pathatic. If CC is one of the criteria, dont even consider Nokia. Motorola I am not aware about.

Even nokia 2865 if available is good phone. Basic handset with BT. But if problem arises then unless you know ADA, your phone will not be repaired before 3 weeks. :rofl_200:

Another option is to buy 3 classics and use them one by one so you can use phone for whole day. :NOTriste::winko::P

Yes my dear friend, the option to use 3 Classic make handsets for the whole day will be as good as a doctor prescribes us a medicine 3 times a day i.e. after every 8 hours.
