i have the software static. i didnt know it could convert colour to b&w too.

does anyone know you could make a wallpaper with your name in word?

i used wordart to make an artistic version of my name...

btw, the software is really cool. it could be better if you make the precautionary notice window smaller and make a bigger display window apart from the small one thats the size of the lg screen.

Simple....

Use wordart to create the text in a page... take a screenshot ( alt+prntscrn).. and then paste it in photoshop..... cut away the rest of image except the name and then follow the standard process... :D

Hope this will serve ur purpose...

:thumb: The PrintScreen option is not available to all PCs. Better save your MSWord file as an Webpage. Now open it in the Browser window and save the picture on your desktop.

 Now open your image in Photoshop>>Switch to image mode "Grayscale" and save it again. You can reopen the grayscale image (B&W) in PhotoShop again to edit the image further.

:D You can go for GIF format also and keep the Black & White as the colours in it. Please refer to any Photoshop expert if you need or you may contact me for the same. I'll give you Gyans for free

guys, i think my way should be far easier...

i created the name with word art and SIMPLY RIGHT-CLICKED COPY AND OPENED PAINT AND CLICKED ON EDIT-->PASTE.

I saved it as a bmp file and dragged it into static's program.
