RadioIO Accessible to Mundu Users

Mundu Radio users worldwide will now be able to tune into radioIO stations anytime and anywhere using their Mundu Radio-enabled mobile phones.

Geodesic has signed a distribution agreement with ioWorld Media's radioIO.com, an Internet radio service, to offer access to radioIO stations as presets on its popular Mundu Radio.

With this agreement, Mundu Radio users can now access radioIO Internet radio stations, streaming live 24x7 music in popular genres such as pop, rock, jazz, classics, oldies, instrumental, and more.

RadioIO.com currently offers over 30 channels, with plans to increase the number to 60 channels soon. The channels are available in most common streaming formats, including MP3, Windows Media, and RealAudio. RadioIO claims to have over one million online listeners tuning in every month.

According to Kiran Kulkarni, managing director of Geodesic, "Consumers today are increasingly using mobile devices to cater to their music, entertainment, and content needs."

Mundu Radio allows wireless access to digital Internet radio stations and an array of music and other content available on the Internet. Apart from Internet radio, the Mundu suite of products also includes solutions for Instant Messaging and Voice-over-IP.

Mundu IM is available on Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices such as: HTC Touch, imate K-Jam, O2 XDA Motorola Q, Palm Treo 750, Palm 700p, and other mobile phones like Sony Ericsson's Walkman Series and K Series and Apple's iPhone.
