Hi,

Firstly the 6275 is 102 grams. so not so light.

The 2505 is 65 gms, quite ok, but have read some reviews saying that it is a pretty bad phone in terms of working, drops signals, poor battery life, etc. etc.

Is that correct?

My budget is around upto 4K.

Go in for LG RD 3000 at Rs 1300 or LGRD 3100 at Rs 1700 apprx. These are the only good phones available in RCOM currently in your budget range. All other phones have very poor battery life, poor features etc. Do not go in for Classic at all.

I got the 3100. It has a cheap plasticky feel, but works great.

Cheap plasticky feel, no doubt. But then its the best phone available today. Much better than the lousy Classic phones. and yes the price is very attractive indeed.

Only thing is that Tata Indicom has a better range of handsets with the Samsung ones being definitely better build quality at the same price.

Even the Haier ones have better finish.

@anil singhvi

Yes my dear friend, the Haier mobiles available with TATA are surely better then CLASSIC mobiles available with Reliance.

Only thing is, if there is a cheap and simple way to unlock those mobiles, then it would be good to buy Haier from Tata and use them on Rel Mobile.

So I can go buy Hair c3000 for my Reliance RUIM without any risk ?

Aha.. I don't mind loosing TATA zone ;)

In the Tata range, I feel the Huwaei phones better than Haier phones, the haeir phones, no doubt are sturdy,are frusrtratingly very slow, signals are weak, I had a feel of the huwaei 2905 which a client of mine had, the phone looked awesome, the voice clarity was ten times much better than the haier 2000 which my office boy has, had an FM too, all that at a price of Rs. 1499/-, Infact the recpetion in some of the classic phones are better than the Haier which I own.
