Honest 836 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 N82, N95 To have Location Tagger App Geo Tagging - the process of taking pictures with your mobile phone camera and tagging the image with GPS coordinates. Of course your mobile phone has to be a GPS equipped device. Though Nokia’s new mobiles like the N96 and the latest Navigator the 6120 are equipped with this feature, what happens to the existing range of GPS enabled handsets? The answer - Nokia’s Location Tagger (Beta version) application. With Nokia Location Tagger, you can automatically tag your location data to your pictures. As you take a picture, your GPS coordinates are saved to the EXIF header of the JPEG file. You can use this data later to locate your pictures on a map. Though the application is still a Beta version it has been tried and tested by Nokia on the N82 and N95 that have internal GPS receivers. It was also tested on the N73 and N81 while being used with an external GPS unit. To download the application click here.
