How To Use Lg Rd5340 On Windows Vista

Recommended Posts

I have system with WINDOWS VISTA as O.S. (Operating System).

When I use C.D. provided earlier with Data Cable / LG RD5340, it is not installing on computer having O.S. WINDOWS VISTA. However I am using this on Windows 98 with out any problem.

How to get up-dated software so as I can use LG RD5340 to connect to net on computer having Operating System as WINDOWS VISTA.

My dear friend, try installing the same software in compatible mode of WINDOWS XP SP2. And also select the RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR option. Your problem must be sorted out by this.

You can find the compatibility mode in the properties of executable file of the software.

Regards.

My dear friend, I know that you are having Windows Vista and I too am using Windows Vista.

Actually you didn't understand what I want to tell you.

Just see. When you select the setup file from the CD to install the software for LG RD5340. Just right click the setup file and select properties from their. In properties you will see the compatibility mode. Just select to install the sotware in compatibility mode of WINDOWS XP SP2. And your problem might be solved. Their are no Vista drivers available from Reliance for this phone right now. So we have to install the driver in compatibility mode of windows xp sp2 and use it.

Regards.
