Arun 795 Report post Posted March 24, 2008 True, sadly they haven't bothered to lower the monthly charges for a long time now. They have just decreased the cost for data card, which isn't beneficial to existing susbscribers. Hopefully they will have better plans for EVDO or Mobile WiMAX when 3G is introduced. Net charges are very high .TATA prepaid net charges are even higher than reliance If they do not reduce charges within 6 months ,the CDMA 1x will be dead and it will be replaced by EVDO and WCDMA

Dear Friend the prices of USB modem are slashed. So 2400 in correct price. My friend the speed of reliance netconnect varies between states In UP east speed is good . Actual downloading speed is around 17 KBPS it is about 153 . But the same thing can not be assured about your state

True, sadly they haven't bothered to lower the monthly charges for a long time now. They have just decreased the cost for data card, which isn't beneficial to existing susbscribers. dominicsimon 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2008 I bought a reliance net connect once and my mother lost her sleep for 2 months. Every other day they will call my mother and say " We will put you son in Jail if you dont pay whatever bill we send." All their promises before you subscribe are mere cheatings. They take custome voice form promising to change the plan and forget about it the moment you leave their office. The executives are trained in how to cheat customers. Their Service Assuarance cell knows only one thing "Escalate Issues". Even though, they admit their mistake, they will not clear it. They dont care about Common Sense, Laws or any guidelines. whatever they do, you will have to pay the bills whether write or wrong. so beware, buy reliance phone only if no other option exist
