nkmenon55 1 Report post Posted March 26, 2008 dear friends, in kerala, reliance take steps to distribute grameen phones to the village people. an average of 20 land line numbers per month surrendered in the bsnl office. the reliance smart executives collected surrender forms from bsnl offices and they distribute their (reliance hello) phones. i am thinking bsnl is no more in villages. awaiting your comments in this regard. nkmenon55 from calicut Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

kshah 452 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 though wireless phones are bought by many in villages, they eventually turn back to wired lines as wireless phones are not as reliable as wired phones because of power situation in Indian villages.
