the qlty of music depends entirely on the bitrate of the mp3 (compression quality) and the nature of headset. since windows media player is used to play mp3 (and u have other choices also) the sound is good... u just need a good pair of headphones to enjoy the music... alternatively u could use one of the stereo bluetooth headphones for wirefree music as 6800 comes equipped with bluetooth 2.0 for a2dp adn avcrp profiles...

tata can activate any cdma instrument if u pursue them enough... hetal (member) got this done when he culdnt find a work around to make this phone functional on reliance intially... things have changed now... u have ways to make it work both by tweaking the software of the phone or by having a ruim tray soldered into it by a professional to use tata tsim in it... so go ahead and buy it and once u have it u could approach tata to enable the instrument by registering its esn into their network...

thankf for the reply . lets assume that we're having a bit rate of 128 kbps.keeping this in mind can we compare the music performance between a nokia set and ppc 6800??

@sumal

Yes my dear friend, if the bit rate is 128 kbps then the music performance will be good enough. 128 kbps is a standard bit rate, less then 128 kbps will only reduce the sound quality. The more the bit rate the better the quality of sound.

Regards.

Well Music will be excellent if u have 320 kbps song.

I listen only to 320, i can easily make out if songs bit rate is less then 320.

yes it certainly is provided u use a good headset... i used wireless jabra stereo bt620s with 6700 on a2dp nd the bass on those phones was the best i have heard on ny mobile device...

basically digital music will sound the same out of any player... qlty isdetermined by bit rate, eq settings of player nd most importantly the headphones
