Arun 795 Report post Posted April 6, 2008 well, changing the board will cost as much the actual cost of the phone... you are better off getting a new phone instead... since it is 3 years old, you won't get warranty now
Honest 836 Report post Posted April 6, 2008 ^^^ Yes my dear Vickey you must go as per Arun's advice. No need to spend as much amount on your 3 years old handset. Regards.

chandyguy 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 (edited) Same thing happened with me. I had been using 6130 for last 3 yrs. But it fell from 2nd floor and board got damaged. Will take 1200 bucks to get it repaired, board change charges, that's what LG service center guys told me. I have bought new handset but I'll get it repaired as some beautiful memories are attached with it. -Amrit Edited April 7, 2008 by chandyguy
Honest 836 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 i already change my handset but i want to use my 6130 coz of my some memorable memories r attached with it. ^^^ @vicks My dear friend, if this is the case then their is no point of money at all. Just go to the nearest service centre and get a new board. As we never knows about any second hand used stuff, what problem can might be exist in the near future with that. So it will be better to go for a new board. And after installing the new board your phone's performance will be as good as a new handset. Regards.
