jabir 5 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Good news Guys, Just contacted Hetal and got the solution to this problem from him.I am attaching the set-ringer.reg file as a zip file, which is the registry solution to this problem. Kindly unzip it to find the reg file. You will need to use Resco Registry Editor which is already there in the ROM (Resco 2008 Explorer), only you will have to enter Change Device ID and enter Serial as Device ID = PPC-6800 Serial = 36284, and then load/add this registry correction file to your registry. Pls note as I am not on Hetals new rom I have not tried it personally, but I have been assured by Hetal that it will work. Kindly use it and immediately post your results for the benefit of other users. Enjoy.... and you know who to Thank - Our Hetal BOSS as always... Hi I tested it. There is no change in the state. Still i cant change my rigntone and switch from silent or vibrate mode to normal. But there is a little help from Hetal bhai. IF we went to vibrate or silent mode we can getback to normal without the manual editing of registry. Just run set ringer registry settings file will solve this. I'VE DONE THIS AND I'M GETTING RINGTONE. DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE. YOU CAN RESTART IT WOULD NOT REVERT BACK. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 If your G Rom hangs a lot, could be because of lots of programs running in the backgroung. FIX- Go to Start-Settings-System-Task Manager-Button- and click on End Programs by tapping "X". This will close the programs immediately instead of them running in the background. I learn that the wifi problem is here too. it does not start when phone is off. so switch wifi on by going into start---settings---connections---wifi. look for the network mannually. But still cant change ringtone 2) Stable and nuepower tools (I think my phones battery lasting atleast increased by 10%) by power offing withing 30 sec and screen off withing 10 sec using nuepower) 3) New categorised programs list 4) Resco Explorer v. 7 (not get serial yet) 6) Menu sound 7) Size of rom is smaller than previous ok bye all Thanks thanks to Hetal Bhai Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
