ssr 10 Report post Posted July 15, 2004 Hi I started this topic to know all the bugs in RD2130 this will be usefull for the people who are going to buy this handset. For me suddenly from day before yesterday R-Word is not working. If if select any option in the R-Word I will get Err msg that "R-Word not ready" I did not updated my phones software still it's version is *****09 only Any one facing the same problem? To resolve this issue, Press softkey and select R-World menu, then Look for last submenu named "Reset R-Menu". Select this and confirm it by selecting "Yes". He must reburn his r-world application and phone software from authorised LG service Centre! Resetting R World menu will not clear cache memory. Mahidhar 3 Report post Posted July 15, 2004 hey ... another bug ... when someone calls, the location name completely obstructs the caller id ... i mean ... im staying here in chennai. when someone calls, the phone displays the "Chennai" banner for aroud 5 seconds ... makes it tough to find who's calling !!! I also request you to check the signal strength at your area. it is not necessary that even if the phone shows full signal, actually it may be least signal strength. All the best buddy! ssr 10 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 I think this problem comes when We will not use R-World from a long time since the files cached in the phone and the files in the server is completely out of sync. and techical person in LG service center told me that the temparary files in the phone must be completely deleted to solve this problem. phonephreak 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2004 i own LG RD 2130 n. my problem is that i have upgarded the phone software to "RD213F10". i have tried reburning the software too. The story:- when i purchased LG mobile, i thought i have got the best in black n white handset. R World was also working properly. But after sometime i started using Rconnect with my laptop, now the problem starts, i got to know that the Rworld applications which i ran prior to connect the phone to computer for the first time are only working. the other applications shows Rworld not ready. i tries resetting r world, even tried to free cache memory using application in Rworld but it to shows Rworld not ready. Reliance customer care official told me to upgrade the software of the phone. After upgrading the software to RD213F10, Rworld starts working again. even the free memory application was working too. But when i again connect the phone with computer for the first time after upgrading and uses Rconnect same problem starts again. Only the applications prior to using Rconnect were working. Other applications shows Rworld not ready. does any person who is using moonlight with rconnect having same problems. Help me guys. If restart has already failed to help I don't think this app is gonna do any good either. But R-World i am not using so frequently(may be once in 2 to 3 days) But I am not facing any problems in 2130 handset after upgrading the firmware and cleaning all the temp files in the service center. architsureka 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2005 Hi while using the MMS method to download the ringtone, I am able to download 3 ringtones and after that if I download any new ringtones i am not able to replace the previously downloaded ringtones. It gives an ALERT "Unable to Save Ringtone!" What to do. Please guide. Note: I can save the ringtones any number of times easily by MMS in LG RD2030.
