How To Connect Pc To Internet Using Ppc 6700 ?

Hi

Is it possible to connect my Laptop to Internet using PPC6700,

I have creater a dialup connection in the laptop (vista) but it doesnot dectect PPC as a modem , please advise

atleast a link where I can find the details ! please! or any configuration in PPC to be changed

There is an internet sharing icon in PPC 6700. Connect your PPC to the internet first and then use the internet sharing feature in it to share the internet with your laptop/PC.

using the rim data connection the sharing to laptop is successful.

theres another question. my ppc gets connected to wifi at my place, now the question is.. can we share this connection to any PC using the sharing button on PPC ,

when we press the sharing button on ppc screen after connecting to wifi , the sharing screen only shows the DATA connection (RIM data connections to share with ) why it doesent show the Connected WIFI .. so that we can share the wifi to PC through PPC 6700 using USB.

I tried to setup the VPN in the connections so that it will appear in the network connections scroll bar of the sharing screen of ppc, but it doenent show the wifi connected connection

finally please tell us is it possible to connect internet to PC using PPC 6700 WIFI connection through USB cable . Thanks a lot

However thanks again, i got connected using RIM data connection to Laptop using sharing on PPC

The inbuilt ICS is for sharing the data connection in PPC. There may be third party softwares which can allow sharing of WiFi connection, try searching for it.
