I am using SPB Mobile shell and it is eating a lot of memory... i do not want to stop using spb, its cool... is there any other way in which we can limit our memory usage... im ready to even make some programs stop running!! my mogul is at present running at 88% and it hangs frequently when im listening to songs in wm player... suggest some alternatives techies!! I made a home cooked ROM, nice and clean - fast without much of the graphics - on WM6.1, but the threaded SMS was a pain since 1. Was difficult to delete a single SMS 2. Does not show TIME of the sms .. just the date is shown 3. When u SMS 2000 people - the same SMS, is shown in the inbox as 2000 different messages - Painful !!! but hey for people who don't forward too much it might be a boon ... so here's something to toggle back and forth the threaded SMS without even a reboot all u need to do is to close text messages and reopen it cheers karki cabs.zip Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Greatest 55 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 ^^^ i tried to change the model of the handset... but in the drop-down list, im not able to find Mogul anywhere... infact i was wanting to ask this question to the mods... good, now u would be able to help me regarding the G rom, i learnt from the forum that its a very heavy ROM... and so was thinkin of cooking a new ROM specially custom made for my applications... waiting for the posts in the new topic of abc2005...
