With profits topping $1.125 billion, Reliance is ranked 189th in the profit category.The Fortune 500 Global List ranks companies based on revenues, profits, assets, stockholders' equity (net worth) and number of employees. In the Stock Holders' Equity category, Reliance stands at the 259th rank (US$ 7.934 billion), in Assets (US$ 16.388 billion) at 377th rank, in number of Employees (11,371 Employees) at 467th rank and in Revenues (US$ 11.327 billion) at the 482nd rank. Hailing the inclusion, Anil Ambani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director remarked: “This is a historic moment for our country, for the entire Indian private sector, and for Reliance.
