Honest 836 Report post Posted May 22, 2008 Now AOL Launching Video Service in India AOL is today launching its video service (http://video.aol.com) in India, Canada, and Taiwan. The launch is part of an aggressive global expansion plan, the company said. It will be introducing the service in UK, France, and Germany in the coming months. The video service is built around AOL's video-search technology called 'Truveo'. The service claims to have searched, sorted, indexed information on more than 170-million videos in 16 countries. AOL also said it will offer local versions of its men's lifestyle Web site, "Asylum", in India, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.
