sjslall 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2008 Hi, 1. I got this Moto-Q from Ebay (cdma). Wanted to activate it on Tata Indicom Network. 2. The QPST tool will not detect the phone on any COM ports. 3. I have added 10 virtual ports using the HW Virtual Serial port tool. Followed the link for details: http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48711 Now when I load any of the virtual ports on QPST, nonbe of the ports detect the phone attached. I have tried this on appx 6-7 systems. Please let me know where I am going wrong.

dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 (edited) You first have to enter Diagnostic Mode on your Moto-Q (we do it by pressing ##3424# in HTC Phones, dont know about Motorola) and then attach the USB cable. After that you have to Install Quallcom/Motorola Diagnostic Modem Drivers (search for them for Moto-Q). It will then show up as a Port in the Device Manager. Read that Port no. Only then will it be detected by QPST. Edited June 12, 2008 by dkaile
