@ksh@T 20 Report post Posted June 23, 2008 MUMBAI: Telecommunication services provider, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML), today announced the launch of 'Let's Rock', a student-friendly plan. The plan worth Rs 299 has three years validity and has attractive day and night call tariffs, a press release issued here said. During the day (9am-9pm), local tariffs from Indicom to Indicom would be 20 paise, others 60 paise, STD Rs 2, SMS (local) 20 paise and SMS (Int) Rs 5. Local charge during night (9pm-9am) from Indicom-Indicom would be 10 paise, others 30 paise, STD Re one, SMS (local) 10 paise and STD (Int) Rs 2.50. "Let's Rock has been created based on extensive consumer research, which sought to understand the requirements of youngsters wanting to go mobile in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa," TTML's General Manager (Marketing), Shashank Pore, said. If it is international SMS, then Rs. 2.5 per SMS would make it the cheapest plan for international SMS, as far as I know... half of what everyone else is charging.
