Us Firm To Use India Reliance Comm's Fibre Network

NEW DELHI: Reliance Globalcom, a unit of India's second-largest mobile operator Reliance Communications, said on Tuesday it had signed an agreement to allow a New York-based firm to use its optic fibre network.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Voice Peering Fabric, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network operated by privately-held Stealth Communications, will use the 65,000-km network of Reliance Communications to carry its traffic, the Indian firm said in a statement.
