Honest 836 Report post Posted June 25, 2008 Spice Launches Dual SIM Phone Spice Mobile has launched the D-1100, a dual SIM handset (GSM/GSM) that offers users the ease of being accessible on two different numbers. Spice Mobile claims that unlike other dual SIM phones available on the market, the D-1100 has two live SIMs working at the same time. The company prefers to call the D-1100 a PDA; the device runs the latest Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system providing users with access to email and business applications including ngpay, a premium m-commerce service. The D-1100 comes with a 2 mega pixels camera, stereo Bluetooth, Windows Media Player, expandable memory up to 2GB, and Google Search. Just read the details mentioned under the "Other Handset" forum and you will see that it is clearly mentioned their that we can discuss about CDMA handsets only in that forum. Thats why your thread had been closed their. Infact "Other Handset" forum is specifically for CDMA handset discussion my dear friend. The above Dual sim Pda phone from Spice is a GSM handset, so it is posted in the correct forum. And if anybody wants to search the forum then why should he / she will search a specific sub-forum. Anyways now since Dual (CDMA/GSM & GSM/GSM) phones have arrived, it has directly or indirectly got to do with CDMA operators like Rcomm. However, we do need to have mandatory special icons that would separate GSM/CDMA discussions. New users would be requiring quick comparisons and this could make it easier for them. Also, rules are subject to change and request the Mods to kindly look into the matter & make it simpler. Since 'General' would be too vague for hot topics..
