Why To Choose Smartphone?

Recommended Posts

Sometimes I question my self why i have choosen smartphone just to spend 18K or..........

1. Low music sound

2. To access excel files.

3. To access Internet while on move

Are there any more reasons to opt or not to opt for smartphone?

3. To access Internet while on move

That is the reason why I chose a smartphone/Pocket PC... I use it for accessing emails, websites, our servers, etc... lot more comfortable than carrying a laptop around.

4th option can be Symbol Status/Show off for many people using Smartphones.

I have seen many people who never have accessed Internet/ Never have run Microsoft Excel,

Still using costly Smartphones/PPC.

Tweakability is one more thing, you can customise a WM platform to suit your needs on your smartphone.

I use it for (in order of priority)-

1. Internet and e-mail

2. Use GPS and Voice Guided Destinator Navigation around Delhi

3. SMS (chat type)

4. Viewing and EDITING my AutoCAD files

5. Viewing Medical X-Rays (as jpegs)

6. Ipod Like Sound on My Seinheisser, beats any ipod with HTC Music Player

7. Listen Music in my Car through it

8. Check Weather

9. Set Appointments and Reminders

10. Take out of the blue Voice Notes (My ideas)

11. Scribble Hand Written Notes

12. Shoot Pictures and Videos

13. Do Scientific Calculations

14. Send SMS's to 100's of people in one go

15. Schedule SMS's to automatically go on fixed date and time so I forget to wish anniversaries, bdays etc.

16. View and Edit word, excel and read pdf files

17. etc. etc., etc.

and of course TO MAKE CALLS

If thats not reason enough to switch to a Windows Mobile Pocket PC, I dont know what is...

looks like you are missing a lot if you dont have a smartphone. Too bad that CDMA in India has very limited options for smart phones.
