Huwaei Ec325 And Ec321 - Unlock To Use Any R-uim

Recommended Posts

Guess whats in store now :) You can unlock your Huwaei EC 325 Data card to accept RUIM's from any network :)

Enable RUIM Support

1. Connect Data Card to PC

2. Find port on which the data card is connected by checking in device manager > ports

3. Connect CDMA workshop to the said port, and read SPC using NVM_0002 method

4. Run QPST, in 1x/HDR Security, change R-UIM config to R-UIM if available.

Your data modem is ready to accept Reliance RUIM Cards.

Now update the firmware to the attached firmware ... and hey presto - you can use RUIM's from any network now !!!! useful for unltd internet access from garuda (399/- pm) to be used using a datacard!!

cheers

Yes, similar to Reliance NetConnect. Its postpaid and I guess its additional Rs.299 per month: http://mtnlmumbai.in/helpdesk/gifs/ads/gfinal_revise.gif

@ankit : In QPST theres a tab called as "1x/HDR Security", here click on read, and the once the parameters are read to "NV Only" just change that to "RUIM if avail."

CDMA workshop will be mailed to you in a bit. :)

Dear ashok do you have any updated firmware for my Huwaei EC EC321?

I did all(except updating firmware i.e 25.09.01e) as you mention above but now only Reliance Ruim is working in it along with the inbuilt default connection.

can I use your firmware to update it .

I want to use garuda sim and my default rim connection (1GB free per month).

Any special software needed to update D firmware ?
