Yahoo Messenger Sign-in Issue

I have OS 4.2.1 on my 8703e handset. I downloaded Y! messenger 2.1.33 last night and tried singing in. It's not letting me sign-in. The username and password works fine when I try using a desktop/laptop.

Any body has faced the same issue? Does anyone have a solution for this?

It keeps showing me the error message "Invalid Yahoo ID or Password"

please check u right the Yahoo ID and Password is right capslock should be on

Well, like I mentioned in my first post, the same Yahoo! ID and password works like a charm on Desktop/Laptop.

Thanks anyways, I tried everything possible from my side and have reported this to Yahoo customer care too. I hope they reply back! I have no choice but to wait

Ah!! Got this working finally. The Y! messenger in Blackberry for some reason does not accept any special characters in password!!! Dont know if this is a known bug with Y!. I changed the password and it works fine now

If there is any issue/bug with Yahoo Messenger, Kindly give feedback to *363.

The problem will be solved very soon. *363 is exclusive BB Customer Care which is very much responsive.
